BRIGHT STAR CLIPPINGS
_____
Weather fair.

School increasing.

The blind man's show was a success. An album was voted to the handsomest (sp) lady, and a cane to the holiest man in the house. Miss Jodie Williams was the fortunate girl and Mr. Ben Hardin the unlucky man.

Miss Jodie Williams is now assistant teacher in the school.

Death has visited our community again and taken off Mr. Shackleford. He had just moved here before he died. Our sympathies are with his orphan children.

Rev. Mr. Shin preached here last Sunday.

The new Methodist circuit rider will preach here on the fourth Sunday. Do not know who he will be.
